FDM move in December 2010 to 40,000 sq ft. of modern office and production space. The secure premises are monitored by 24hr cctv, providing guarded security and monitoring. This relocation will enable FDM to offer even greater cost savings to it’s customers!

FDM will be building on its services to collections and enforcement agencies as a key sponsor at the 2011 Collections/DSP Conference in Manchester. Now in it’s 10th year, this event attracts the most senior professionals from across the credit management and collections arena and FDM will be there to offer them a better deal on their print and postage. The conference will provide a real opportunity for those in the debt collection industry to talk about any print and mail issues they are having, such as mailshot accuracy, getting envelopes opened, print IT, matching multiple letter types and online archiving.

Last week FDM sponsored the 2011 Collections/DSP Conference in Manchester where senior professionals from across the credit management and collections arena were present to discuss some of the key issues facing the industry. The event provided a great opportunity to offer our support in the face of some of today’s challenges, in particular to the smaller debt buyers and collection agencies that are finding it difficult to gain a share of the market. FDM’s response will be to ensure our services to this sector continue to be hassle-free and cost-effective and in fact remain a key part of our policy - offering postage discounts for businesses irrespective of mail volumes.

FDM plc, the London based local government printing and mailing specialist, is pleased to announce the unveiling of 2 additional Xerox digital print lines and a further Kern 2500 mailing machine.

The installation includes a second Xerox Nuvera 288 EA complimenting the 3 Manhattan lasers and FDM’s first Xerox colour machine the docucolour 5000.

The Xerox Nuvera 288 comes a year after the installation of the first Nuvera and offers exceptional speed, efficiency and productivity without compromising image quality and has been a perfect fit within the FDM production environment.

The Xerox docucolour will support the wide range of 4-colour products FDM are able to offer and reduce turnaround times on smaller runs previously printed on our litho presses. With the capability of printing on a wide range of media at exceptional quality, enabling an increased product range to clients.

Jim Fletcher, Group Managing Director of FDM, says this is the latest in a series of planned investments. “After a successful 2011 with new long term contracts coming on board, it was essential that we not only increase our capacity but also add to the resilience of our operation during our busy periods”.
