Government Procurement Service - Wider Public Sector Print Services Framework Agreement - RM 1687
FDM is pleased to announce that following a full EU tender process for the Wider Public Sector Print Services framework agreement, FDM is one of six successful suppliers to have been awarded a framework agreement contract for Lot 2 - Operational Print Services.
The two year contract, with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month periods, is available for all wider public sector organisations to use and provides all general, office and marketing print from low to high production runs.

FDM awarded framework agreement contract
FDM were delighted that Cllr Lester Hudson, Deputy Mayor of Newham opened their new 40,000 sq foot premises this week as part of their 2012 expansion. He was met by Jim Fletcher, the company’s managing director and the staff and was given a guided tour of the facility viewing the companies new range of equipment including the latest postal sortation machinery.
FDM currently employs 56 permanent staff, many of whom live in the East End of London and will be working with Workplace - Newham Council’s job brokerage scheme - to recruit additional staff for peak times such as elections and year-end billing.
On his visit Cllr Hudson said: “We know that this company is already delivering significant benefits to our community and we look forward to building on our relationship with them.”
Matt Smith of FDM said: “Being based in Newham is giving us the opportunity to develop our business over the coming years and play a part in Newham’s regeneration. Not only are we committed to recruiting local people but we want to work with the council to save them money and develop further opportunities for growth.”

FDM awarded ISO 9001!
Congratulations to Clare at Spelthorne Borough Council who won the FDM raffle at the AEA conference in Brighton! there were over 80 names in the hat so thank you to everybody who brought their card in or entered online. Thanks also to Sue Bedford for picking out the winner.
FDM were pleased to see so many visitors to our stand over the 4 day event and discussing your requirements for the upcoming county elections. We had a number of new enquiries and lots of interest in our new Hi-mail service for IER and departmental office mail, and we promise to get the requested info out as soon as possible.
All in all the event was a great success, except when it was our turn to do some Indian dancing, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
