In order to mitigate these potential disasters, FDM:

Has a secure IT department with:

- Systems which are backed up on mirror and contingency servers - in separate buildings.

- Daily system/data backups - with copies stored in fireproof safes & off-site.

Holds copies of essential documentation in two fireproof safes - hardcopy and electronic, e.g. contracts, legal documents, contact details for staff, suppliers and clients - on separate sites.

Holds stocks of stationery in separate buildings.

Ensures that all equipment is maintained regularly, either in-house or covered by formal maintenance and service level agreements with suppliers.

Ensures that all staff are fully trained to maintain the machinery in their care.

Ensures that it holds a comprehensive insurance policy to cover its obligations.

Ensures that fire safety inspections are carried out regularly.

FDM endeavours to conduct its operations safely and responsibly, at all times minimising risk. However, the company is aware of potential events which may prevent its normal operation.
